Servicemen of the Heartland Outdoors was formed by a small group of individuals as a way to give back to people who served our country, communities, and generally have tried to make this world a better place.
As a part of this mission, SHO provides $5,000 scholarships to high school graduates pursuing continued education through a two-year trade school. Scholarships may be awarded to a direct descendant of one of our major sponsors or volunteers, or a direct descendent of one of our past participants.
These scholarships and our yearly event are funded with help from our sponsors and raffles.
*Applications are taken throughout the year for future events.
